Product description
This exceptionally large round vintage coffee table is a prime example of European modernist design from the 1970s. The table combines a solid textured glass top with a sculptural star base in brushed steel, creating a powerful yet balanced look.
The glass top is 1.5 cm thick and has a beautiful, slightly diffused texture that subtly refracts light. Its generous diameter of 195 cm and low height of 35 cm make this a true statement table, ideal for large living spaces, lofts, gallery-style interiors, or professional settings such as offices, hotels, and showrooms.
The table was produced in Europe (probably Italy or Northern Europe) during a period when much quality furniture was being produced for the contract and project market. The designer is anonymous, but the materials, proportions, and finish point to durable, serious production.
The total weight is approximately 140 kg, underscoring the solidity and quality of the materials used. The glass can be removed from the base for transport.
