Product description
Original and Large Vintage Decorative Plate/Wall Plate from the renowned French brand Émaux De Longwy. The plate is beautifully decorated in cloisonné enamel with a depiction of a blue and yellow bird on a branch of blooming cherry blossoms, finished with a deep blue rim and the characteristic crackle glaze. Origin: Émaux De Longwy, France Period: Mid 20th Century (Approx. 1940 – 1960) Technique: Hand-decorated (Décoré À la Main / Rehaussé Main) Diameter: 37 cm Condition: Excellent condition! No chips, hairline cracks, or restorations. On the back, there is the light age-related discoloration/patina so characteristic of Longwy beneath the glaze. Hanging system: Includes wire mounting on the back. Marking: Fully marked with the famous green stamps. Will be packed very carefully.
