Beautiful large antique painting from the 1940s-1960s, oil on linen canvas in a gilt/beige wood and stucco frame. The painting depicts the facade of an elegant villa named "Villa Camille" within a lovely flower garden. Signed M. Lesoll in the lower right corner. A high-quality painting, with meticulous attention to detail in the architecture. It was likely commissioned as a souvenir from a talented local or amateur painter.
Large dimensions: canvas 48 x 36 cm, frame 60 x 52 cm, 3.5 cm thick. In good overall condition, with some wear to the paint and a discreet touch-up on the right side, a few imperfections on the frame, slightly damaged stucco, and a patina consistent with age; nevertheless, a harmonious piece. Approximately 1 kg.
