Impressive large vintage Baroque-style mirror featuring an exceptionally ornate sculptural gilt frame. The frame is richly decorated with elaborate rococo scrollwork, acanthus leaves, floral motifs, roses and shell-inspired details, creating a dramatic three-dimensional appearance. The warm antique gold finish has developed attractive darker patination throughout the recessed decoration, beautifully emphasizing the depth and craftsmanship of the frame. The large central mirror has softly rounded corners and is surrounded by a finely detailed inner border. A true statement piece, perfect above a fireplace, console table or sideboard, or as a focal point in an entrance hall, bedroom or living room.
