Beautiful large, handmade Murano glass sculpture of two embracing figures, crafted in intense cobalt blue and clear glass. The sculpture features a particularly elegant, abstract design. The two figures are rendered in a highly stylized manner and are embraced by long, fluidly shaped glass arms. The contrast between the deep blue glass and the transparent glass creates a beautiful three-dimensional effect. The sculpture is very heavy and stands on a solid, clear glass cylindrical base. Details: * Height: 41.7 cm * Base diameter: 7.7 cm * Weight: 2,423 grams * Material: hand-formed glass * Colors: cobalt blue and clear glass * Theme: Lovers / Amanti / embracing couple * Bottom professionally/smoothly polished * No visible signature or label. The form and execution closely align with the Murano tradition of hand-formed glass Lovers sculptures. Similar Murano Lovers exist, measuring approximately 41–42 cm, attributed to Giuliano Tosi, among others. Please note: the maker of this specific piece is not signed and is therefore not attributed with certainty to Tosi or any other specific Murano workshop. An impressive object nearly 42 cm high, suitable as a striking art piece in a modern, vintage, or classic interior. Condition: Good vintage condition, commensurate with age. A few very light signs of use/scratches on the underside of the base. No visible chips or restorations.
