A beautiful German bell from the 1970s, generous in its dimensions and, above all, still perfectly capable of fulfilling the function for which it was designed. Made of solid brass, it boasts a robust and particularly decorative silhouette. The body alternates smooth and polished surfaces with a wide frieze of a rougher texture, animated by various embossed motifs. Among these, a spread-winged eagle is particularly prominent, accompanied by floral motifs, while the name MUNSTER stands out clearly on one of its sides. Its large rectangular handle gives it a lot of character. Solid and comfortable to grip, it allows the bell to truly ring. The clapper is present, and the sound is clear and perfectly functional. With a diameter of approximately 11 cm and a height of approximately 11 cm, it has enough presence and resonance to be genuinely used again. As a call bell in a home, on a shop counter, at the reception of a guesthouse or restaurant, it can also become a fun dinner bell. Inside, a handwritten inscription "Munster 1974" accompanies the piece, taking us directly back to 1970s Germany, a time when metal souvenirs could still be genuinely durable, heavy, and usable objects. The metal has now acquired a beautiful patination, with the nuances and traces left by its fifty years of existence. The contrast between the gilded parts and the more matte reliefs gives it its full personality. Height approximately 11 cm, diameter approximately 11 cm. Dated 1974.
