Large original modular wall unit designed by Jiří Jiroutek for Interiér Praha, produced in Třešť, Czechoslovakia, circa 1964.
An iconic example of Czechoslovak mid-century modern design, featuring a modular system of cabinets, drawers and glass display units. The set is offered as one complete unit only and is intended for full professional renovation.
The furniture comes from a private family estate and has remained in original condition.
The interior of all cabinets and drawers is in very good, clean and fully functional condition.
The surface veneer is damaged by water exposure, caused by flower pots placed on the furniture over time. This damage is visible on the upper surfaces and is clearly documented in the photographs.
Several original manufacturer labels are preserved on individual modules, confirming production by Interiér n. p. Praha, Třešť. The labels specify original model numbers (including U-459, U-470, U-494), oak veneer finish and technical standards dated 1964, providing clear documentation of authenticity and provenance. Original retail prices in Czechoslovak crowns are also present on the labels as historical context.
An additional large wardrobe from the same period is available and can be included free of charge as a bonus. This piece shows more extensive damage and is intended strictly as a restoration project or source of original parts.
