Very beautiful, large, and massive alabaster/yellowish marble vase with translucent veins, hand-carved, in the style of a Belle Époque Medici vase. The rim and base are decorated with stylized leaves. It has a large, solid base. An internal fitting allows it to be converted into a lamp (to be electrified) or used as a planter/cachepot or large vase by placing a cut-off bottle inside, for example. Vintage/antique, 1930s/40s, Italian craftsmanship. 36cm high, 21cm interior (maximum height) + 20cm interior height, 16cm base diameter. Very good overall condition, a small, discreet chip on the edge of one leaf and a few very minor, superficial chips on the rim. Approximately 7.5 kg.
