Product description
This flush mount ceiling light was made by Mazzega in Murano, Italy, during the 1960s, taking the form of a stylized palm tree with six large, curved fronds. Each frond is hand-blown in textured Murano glass with beautiful pink highlights and mounted on a gilt brass frame, pairing the sculptural quality typical of Murano lighting from the period with the warmth of gold-toned metal. The fixture is in excellent condition and in full working order, with all six E14 sockets functioning correctly for screw-base bulbs up to 60 watts each. Its 62 cm diameter and compact 22 cm height suit a dining room, entrance hall, or living room with generous ceiling height, where the palm-leaf form reads as a sculptural centerpiece rather than a purely functional fixture.
