Important French natural oak bookcase dating from the 18th century.
It opens with two large grilled doors and features architecture characteristic of the Louis XVI style, notably chamfered and fluted uprights.
The interior, entirely paneled, retains its old racks allowing the height of the shelves to be adjusted. The bookcase has a beautiful old patina and period hardware.
Sound and stable structure.
Very good general condition considering its age, with traces of use, wear and old restorations consistent with an 18th-century piece.
