Handcrafted fruit bowl/compote dish from Moustiers, entirely hand-painted.
A generously sized bowl mounted on a flared central pedestal.
In a Provençal/regional style with a delicate polychrome decoration of stylized floral motifs in warm tones of yellow, ochre, soft green, and deep blue.
Scattered blue dots are scattered throughout the design.
A charming butterfly in flight.
A wavy frieze and blue border adorn the rim.
The delicately scalloped, scalloped edge adds refinement and elegance.
The pedestal echoes the floral motifs.
Ideal as a fruit bowl, biscuit bowl, or for other uses, depending on your imagination.
In very good condition, with a glossy glaze and vibrant decoration. No cracks or chips.
