An elegant hand-knotted rug with a classic medallion design on a soft ivory field. The refined floral arabesque pattern and the harmonious color combination of deep midnight blue, warm terracotta, and subtle sand tones give the rug a tranquil yet rich appearance.
This rug was made in the second half of the 20th century (circa 1975–1995) using traditional knotting techniques. The pile consists of wool on a cotton base, which ensures a soft texture and durable quality. The wool still retains its fullness and feels pleasant to the touch.
With its generous size of 335 × 247 cm, this rug is ideal for a spacious living room, dining room, or study. The central star-shaped medallion is surrounded by graceful tendril motifs and framed by a classic multi-layered border.
