OBJECT: Large "Fat Lava" collectible vase (Mid-Century Period)
ORIGIN: France, Vallauris workshops (French Riviera)
DATE: Circa 1960-1975
1. TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS
Style: "Fat Lava" artistic movement / Glaze with a volcanic lava effect.
Dimensions: Height: 32 cm (Large size) | Diameter: 8.5 cm (Slender silhouette).
Material: Ceramic (white-bodied earthenware, visible on the base).
Exterior decoration: Flamboyant gradient glaze (Golden Yellow / Red / Orange) on a textured black "foam" base.
Interior decoration: Fully glazed with radiating brown and orange drips (a sign of quality and watertightness).
2. AUTHENTICATION ELEMENTS (Base Analysis)
Background Type: Glossy garnet-brown enameled center.
Signature: Presence of a handwritten signature engraved in relief, identified by tracing.
Reading: Inscription "Vallauris" on the upper part of the circle (see tracing).
