Impressive Double-Sided English-Style Partner’s Desk
A substantial and characterful partner’s desk in warm-toned wood, designed to be attractive and functional from both sides.
One side features eight spacious drawers with traditional brass-coloured handles. The opposite side has elegant panelled cupboards, allowing the desk to stand freely in the centre of a room rather than against a wall. Its generous proportions make it an excellent statement piece for an executive office, library, home study, law or notary practice, boutique hotel or heritage interior.
The large writing surface is protected by a custom-fitted removable glass top. Traditional mouldings, panelled sides and shaped pedestal feet give the desk its distinctive English character.
The desk is very solid, heavy and built for many more years of use. It is in good vintage condition, with normal signs of age and use visible in the photographs. These contribute to its authentic character.
