An impressive and highly decorative antique Chinese display cabinet from the late 19th to early 20th century. This substantial open cabinet combines strong architectural lines with traditional craftsmanship and would be a striking showpiece in any interior.
The exterior of the cabinet is finished with deep black lacquer and visually opens up to a vibrant red lacquered interior, a classic and highly sought-after color combination often associated with Chinese furniture. Traditionally, the red interior was used not only for decoration but also as a symbol of prosperity, good fortune, and protection.
