A collector's item of exceptional quality and craftsmanship. Depicting a Thai celestial musician playing the Zueng, a traditional instrument. This is a high-end work of art from the early 20th century. The workshop hallmark, a circular cold-stamped seal on the side of the base, certifies and guarantees its authenticity. This seal attests to its provenance from a renowned Bangkok art workshop and confirms its authenticity. Gold leaf gilding. High-quality, precise, and exquisitely detailed chasing (see photos). Weight 3.5 kg. The statue still retains its original cement ballast inside the base, a practical, period-appropriate technique to ensure perfect stability. Circa 1930-1950. Dimensions: Height 33 cm, Base 22 x 15 cm. Superb overall condition; the antique green patina and gold leaf are original. A rare piece and a magnificent addition to any Thai art collector.
