This apothecary cabinet/display case was designed and manufactured in Belgium around 1900. It is made of pitch pine with Art Nouveau-style cast iron handles and cut glass doors. The cabinet has retained a rich patina through natural aging and (old) repairs. The internal dimensions of the drawers are: depth 21 cm x width 46 cm x height 12 cm. The cabinet originally came from the Het Verguld Schaap pharmacy in Mechelen. A set of two identical display cases is available; the price is for the set, but they can also be purchased separately.
