Beautiful original 18th-century hand-coloured engraving of Richmond Hill, Surrey. Published c.1752 by Robert Sayer & Henry Overton.
This is a real antique from the 1700s, not a modern gift-shop reproduction! You can see the physical "dent" (plate mark) in the paper from the printing press and the hand-painted watercolor details.
Condition Details:
• The print has authentic "foxing" (brown age spots) and tanning, which adds to its antique look.
• Frame: Vintage wooden frame included. It has some small chips and scuffs on the corners and edges (see photos), but it is sturdy and ready to hang.
Size: 58x43 cm.
