Very large antique toilet pitcher/jug, in Dutch ironstone, signed “Société Céramique de Maestricht”, “Printemps” collection, late 19th century.
Large in size, it has a pleasing volume.
Elegant, rounded silhouette resting on a footed base.
Delicately shaped, multi-lobed spout.
Fine decoration in a soft red/pink, depicting an abundant floral motif composed of leafy branches and clusters of flowers, harmoniously distributed across the body.
Stylized floral frieze adorns the rim.
Clear and well-contrasted impression.
Signed on the base.
Can be used as a large carafe, as an elegant bathroom decoration, or as a superb vase in a living room.
