Ara table lamp, designer Philippe Starck, prod. Flos Italy 1988. This polished chrome-plated steel table lamp has a die-cast head, with a non-original replaced glass diffuser, which is carried by an angled steel rod attached to a flat chrome-plated base. The lamp is switched on and off by tilting the head. The original self-adhesive label is present, as is the original rubber trim on the edge of the lamp. Cable and transformer are original and have been checked by the electrician. Slight traces of age-related wear on the base, the lamp is in very good original condition. A rare and iconic piece from Philippe Starck's work for Flos in the 80s. Secure colissimo shipping.
