Description:
This charming bundle comprises two hand-painted wooden reliefs, signed "Kolz" - presumably works by the German artist Kurt Kolz (20th century), known for his symbolic, reduced depictions with a spiritual undertone.
1st Religious motif:
A pair of naked, finely stylized feet under a bright red robe on a gold-coloured background - with a meditative, almost floating effect. The signature "Kolz" is at the bottom right.

2 Mediterranean city view:
A colorful relief of a fantasy city with elements reminiscent of Venice: bridge, domes, boats, implied churches and alleyways. Also signed "Kolz" → Lively and playful - with stylized, childlike-naive forms and warm colouring.

Layers of paint on a gilded or patinated background
Each with visible brushwork and typical craquelé look
Signature:
Both works signed "Kolz" lower right.
Condition:
Used condition with slight signs of age and storage (see photos). The colors are strong and the works are stable.

Both panels look like meditative snapshots. The combination of religious symbolic image and Mediterranean scene gives the collection a special complexity.
