Have you ever seen the crocus flower?
It's a bulbous plant that produces delicate, cup-shaped flowers, available in numerous shades. Observing its soft, enveloping forms inspired Swedish designer Lennart Bender to create a truly unique chair in 1968: the Krokus. With its organic, welcoming profile, this armchair evokes the image of a newly bloomed flower, transforming a natural element into a refined furnishing object.
The Krokus was produced by the Swedish company Ulferts AB, and stands out as an interesting example of 1960s Scandinavian design, combining functionality, comfort, and naturalistic influences.
White lacquered fiberglass frame and (original) cream-colored leather upholstery.
