Object: 1x Mid - Century Lounge Chair Description: The armchair is fully upholstered and consists of a classic wooden frame with steel wave suspension which is fitted with solid, angled and tapered stud feet made of beech heartwood. more... The upholstery fabric is made of fine, soft new wool, the seams of which are part of the design and have been beautifully stitched by master craftsmen using the ladder stitch (also known as the magic stitch, as the thread is not visible) (the highest level of craftsmanship). The backrest was also stitched horizontally and fitted with 2 upholstery buttons. The removable seat cushion has a spring core with horsehair padding and a hand-sewn cover. The cushion cover is made of upholstery felt with a quilted textile stretch fabric on the top. An armchair with outstanding craftsmanship - which is hard to find in this quality today - paired with a relaxing seating comfort that makes you want to get up. Manufacturer: Walter / Wilhelm Knoll Material: pure new wool, very high quality and durable contract furniture fabric / beech heartwood Color shade: green, with a very beautiful duotone look thanks to the two-tone weave (similar to leaf green / fir green) Info... The photos are highly exposed so that the 1a condition is also visible in detail! Colors are generally brighter. The shadow areas or the areas not directly illuminated by the photo light best reflect the color tones in nature. Gloss on the photos or grayish or milky areas are also due to exposure or lighting (reflections). The surfaces are silk matt to silk gloss. Dimensions: approx. W: 78.5 cm; D: 85 cm; H: 83 cm; Seat height: 42 cm; Seat depth: 53 cm Condition: The lounge chair is very well maintained and in very good condition! The previous owner (architect) had it reupholstered or covered with a high-quality virgin wool cover, so that our efforts in this regard were limited to professional cleaning, which we always carry out for textiles. Otherwise, the cover has no scratches, tears or holes and is completely odorless. It is only a shade lighter in the front area of the armrests, but this is so slight that it cannot be photographed. We have completely overhauled the beautiful feet so that they now look like new again. We completely removed the old varnish and then carried out a multi-stage wood oil treatment. We also gave it a new stretch fabric. All in all, a very beautiful, exceptional armchair in an exquisite condition that its new owner will enjoy for decades to come.
