I bought the sofa this year and, of course, I have the original receipt.
The Pillo sofa by Knoll International, designed by Canadian designer Willo Perron, is a modern sofa that, at first glance, resembles an oversized stack of soft cushions—a sculptural, organic design language that combines comfort and visual lightness. It works equally well as a design statement in contemporary living spaces or as an inviting lounge solution for relaxation. His design reflects Perron's unconventional perspective, where classic furniture aesthetics meet playful sensuality.
Functionally, the Pillo sofa is a modular system: It consists of individual modules that can be combined and rearranged as desired—whether as a classic sofa, a spacious corner configuration, or a generous sectional—making it adaptable to different room sizes and usage requirements.
In terms of materials, the sofa is based on upholstery made of molded, flexible polyurethane in varying densities, creating a soft and inviting seating and lounging surface. The backrest and armrests are also made of flexible polyurethane and padded with polyester wadding. Overall, it invites you to "sit down and relax" rather than sit formally, offering maximum comfort in an aesthetically minimalist form.
The Pillo sofa was first presented in 2024 and launched at the Salone del Mobile 2024, marking its debut on the international design market.
