The Bedouin rug provides beauty in the house for years. To keep the carpet beautiful for as long as possible, we recommend purchasing an underlay. This ensures that the rug always stays in place. So don't worry about slipping in the hall, living room or office. In addition, it offers extra sound insulation and the carpet will wear less quickly. The rug can be used on both sides. Turn the carpet every six months to extend its life.
Cleaning a 100% Egyptian wool rug
Kelima's carpets are all woven by hand and are therefore naturally resistant to dirt. However, it is important to clean the rug regularly to maintain its beautiful appearance. Use the vacuum cleaner regularly or shake the carpet gently from side to side so that the dirt falls out. Is there a stain on the Kilim rug? You can remove these by gently dabbing with a damp cloth. For a thorough cleaning, take the rug to the dry cleaners.
Cleaning Tips:
1- Wash the rug by hand in cold water to keep the beautiful colors.
2- Do not put the rug in the dryer, but hang it up to dry.
3- Never use bleach or stain remover.
4- You remove stains as soon as possible with a cloth and possibly soapy water.
5- For the best cleaning, we recommend taking the rug to the dry cleaners.
