A cheerful set modeled after sketches instantly recognizable to anyone familiar with the artist, the Keith Haring Chess Set features pawns fashioned from Haring's barking dogs and castles shaped like men with their arms raised. The Keith Haring Chess Set is made of turned and lacquered wood by the renowned toy company Vilac, and includes a white cloth bag for storing the pieces when not in use, featuring the artist's 1989 self-portrait. The Keith Haring Chess Set board is 12.6" square, and the pieces range from 0.5" (pawn) to 2.5" (king) in height. Haring's work is in the MoMA collection. Ages 6 and up. Lacquered wood.
