An exceptional and highly decorative seven-arm chandelier known as the “Ježko” model, produced in the renowned glassmaking center of Kamenický Šenov during the 1970s.
This model represents one of the most sculptural expressions of late Czechoslovak modernist lighting. The dynamic radial composition — reminiscent of a crystalline starburst — creates a powerful architectural presence while maintaining refined elegance. When illuminated, the glass elements refract and multiply the light, producing a luminous, almost jewel-like effect.
The seven-arm configuration gives this chandelier significant spatial impact, making it ideal for interiors that demand a statement piece: above a dining table, in a gallery-like living space, boutique hotel lobby, or curated design residence.
Preserved in excellent vintage condition, with all original elements intact, this piece embodies the craftsmanship and innovation that made Kamenický Šenov internationally respected in the second half of the 20th century.
With the growing international recognition of Central European glass design, important models such as the “Ježko” are increasingly sought after by collectors and interior architects alike.
