Biography:
Jürgen Angeler studied communication and media design, which laid the foundation for his artistic career. He began painting in 2014 and participated in his first group exhibitions. His first solo exhibition followed in 2015. Since then, he has continuously developed his technique.
Several exhibitions and workshops have followed. Jürgen Angeler focuses particularly on Informal Painting, a form of modern art that emerged in the 1940s and 50s. The interplay of spontaneity (impulse) and chance (drip painting, squeegee application) plays a crucial role in this style. The end result is a finished painting that expresses the tension that was built up during the creative process.

Jürgen Angeler was born in Austria in 1982. He currently lives and works near Munich. Jürgen Angeler's works reflect the contemporary spirit of the times. He constantly engages with current developments in the visual arts. Years of studying art history and artistic techniques form the foundation of his work and its ongoing evolution. Jürgen Angeler's intention is to create expressive, gallery-quality artworks for your space that reflect the modern zeitgeist. A combination of squeegee and drip painting techniques, two popular methods in contemporary art, plays a significant role in his work.
