Abstract painting on canvas by Austrian artist Jürgen Angeler. Painted with highly pigmented acrylic paint. Strong, robust, and bend-resistant, gallery-quality canvas (210 g/m²).
The painting has an overall size of 150 x 115 cm and the necessary space on each edge to fit a 140 x 100 cm stretcher frame. Suitable stretcher frame depth: 2 - 5 cm.

The painting will be shipped in a sturdy cardboard box as a rolled canvas (without a frame). Biography:
Jürgen Angeler studied communication and media design, which laid the foundation for his artistic career. He began painting in 2014 and participated in his first exhibitions. His first solo exhibition followed in 2015. Since then, he has continuously developed his technique.
Several exhibitions and workshops have followed to date. Jürgen Angeler pays particular attention to Informel Painting, a form of modern art that emerged in the 1940s and 1950s. The mixture of arbitrariness (creating impulses) and chance (drip painting, squeegee prints) plays a decisive role. The resulting work is a finished painting that expresses the tension created during the process.
Jürgen Angeler has had successful exhibitions in Germany, Italy, and Austria. His paintings are part of collections in several European countries, the USA, Hong Kong, and Japan.

Jürgen Angeler was born in Austria in 1982. He now lives and works near Munich. Jürgen Angeler's works are attuned to the modern zeitgeist. He is constantly engaged with current developments in the visual arts. Years of engagement with art history and artistic techniques form the foundation of his work and its continuous development. Jürgen Angeler's goal is to create expressive, gallery-quality works of art for your spaces that reflect the modern zeitgeist. A combination of squeegee painting and drip painting, two popular techniques in modern art, plays a major role in his paintings.
