For sale, a magnificent large amphora-style floor vase with two handles, made of salt-glazed and flamed stoneware from Bouffioulx. This is an authentic work by Jules Guérin (1919-1999), son of the renowned ceramist Roger Guérin. Characteristics of the piece: - Exceptional height: 52 cm (large, rare piece) - Model/Shape: 406/A (engraved under the base) - Signature: Hand-signed under the base "Guerin M.O.B." (Master Potter of Bouffioulx) with a "Hand made in Belgium" stamp. - Decoration: Rich heraldic decoration in relief depicting a stag's head and a coat of arms, highlighted with cobalt blue and brown glazes. - Condition: Perfect condition, no cracks or chips.
