Reproduction of the concert poster for the British post-punk rock band Joy Division at the Astoria, Edinburgh, on Thursday, May 8, 1980. The concert was canceled due to the poor health of singer and songwriter Ian Curtis, who committed suicide ten days later, on May 18, leading the surviving members of the band to regroup as New Order. The black and white poster is exquisitely pure, featuring the iconic cover art created by graphic designer Peter Saville for the band's 1979 debut album, "Unknown Pleasures."
