Vintage glass bowl or ashtray, designed by Czech glass designer Josef Hospodka for the Chribska Glassworks factory in the 1960s.
The piece is characterized by the use of "hut glass" (mouth-blown and hand-shaped), incorporating orange and yellow hues in an organic, "twisted" form within clear crystal glass. Although often referred to as an ashtray, its sculptural shape also makes it widely used as a decorative small bowl or art object.
This is a vintage item. This means that it has been used. Items are not new or perfect, but they are very beautiful! Most vintage items show signs of wear. The extent to which these signs of wear are present is stated in the description. Photos are part of this description, so please examine them carefully. Vintage (read: used) items sometimes show color variations, uneven wear, and/or normal wear. Please take this into account when making a purchase.
When shipped, the item is carefully packed to prevent damage. I ship in recycled and eco-friendly boxes.
