Special oil painting on panel by John Rädecker (1885–1956).
The painting is included and depicted in the publication John Rädecker – The dream of the living image by Ype Koopmans, under number II-3: “Still life with cigar box”.
In the catalog, both my parents are mentioned with this painting.
This work has been in our family for several generations. It is known within the family that John Rädecker was a personal friend of my grandfather.
