A very beautiful and large color offset lithograph designed by Jim Dine in 1983. Sheet size: 80 x 54 cm, in mint condition. This exhibition poster was designed by Jim Dine for the exhibition at Galerie Maeght in Paris. The exhibition ran from April 12, 1983, to May 20, 1983. Dine attended the University of Cincinnati and the Boston School of Fine and Applied Arts, graduating in 1957 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Ohio State University. In the late 1950s, Dine attracted attention with his participation in the so-called happenings at the Judson Gallery, which he founded with Claes Oldenburg and Allan Kaprow. He had his first solo exhibition in 1960 at the Reuben Gallery in New York. In 1962, he exhibited alongside Roy Lichtenstein, Andy Warhol, Robert Dowd, Phillip Hefferton, Joe Goode, Edward Ruscha, and Wayne Thiebaud, among others, at the groundbreaking exhibition "New Painting of Common Objects" at the Norton Simon Museum in Pasadena, California. This exhibition is considered the first pop art exhibition in the United States.
