Product description
Sculpture of abstract and geometric design by the artist Jesus Molina, created in 1978. This work is part of a limited edition, numbered 23 out of 25. The piece masterfully combines two noble materials in a dynamic composition. A solid rectangular base of white marble, characterized by its subtle gray veining, serves as the foundation. Emerging from and resting upon this stone block is a complex bronze element. This metallic component features an architectural, interlocking design with sharp angles and defined planes, strongly recalling Brutalist aesthetics. The bronze displays a rich, original patina with tonal variations ranging from deep browns to golden highlights and subtle iridescent reflections that shift with the light. The interaction between the materials is notable, as the bronze appears partially embedded within the marble, creating a sense of integration and a powerful contrast between the coldness of the stone and the warmth of the metal. The base is signed, dated "1978," and numbered "23/25."
