This stately building was the residence of a professor for many years, until it was taken over by the Ministry of Education in 1928. This hall bears witness to a prosperous time and is so beautifully decorated that it will nail you to the floor. In my case “in” the floor. This photo was taken on the first floor, just before I was dangling up to my knees in the floor.
