This is the S.A.M. Tropique table, a design by the French designer Jean Prouvé, reissued in a limited edition from the Prouvé RAW collection by Vitra in collaboration with G-Star RAW. This particular piece is number 037 of the authorized 2011 re-edition and combines industrial heritage with contemporary design. The table is based on Prouvé's original design from 1950 and is characterized by its distinctive construction. The tabletop is made of brushed steel, while the frame consists of folded sheet steel, showcasing Prouvé's typical combination of technical functionality and sculptural form.
