Vintage openwork vase in the shape of a boat/planter, made by the ceramist Jean-Pierre Prud'homme, who established his workshop in Touraine in 1971 (Au Gré du Vent studio).
The piece is made of stoneware fired at high temperature, with a nuanced green glaze, blue on the neck, and raw earth effects on the raised surfaces.
It rests on a small foot and features a central openwork motif on each side in the shape of a star-shaped flower.
Signature: Incised mark depicting a small pitcher with the initials "JP," and the words "fait main" (handmade) engraved under the base.
Very good condition.
Dimensions: Length 20.5 cm, height 15 cm, width 8 cm, base diameter 9 cm, and weight 801 g.
