In good condition with signs of use appropriate to the age of the item

During the 1950s Koene Oberman, owner and designer of the furniture company Gelderland, headed the company to modern design. Meaning the furniture changed from massive wooden pieces, to industrial, open and more transparent lines of design. Koene Oberman himself designed only a couple of pieces for a small period in time, after which he attracted other designers such as Rob Parry but also Jan des Bouvrie to work with him on Gelderland furniture. They started the quality design of the 50s and 60s. This fauteuil is probably from the pen of Oberman himself and is very rare with the Pierre Guariche style armrests to it. The chair is in good condition consistent with age and use. Green skai decorated on the metal frame.Normale minimale gebruikssporen passend bij leeftijd en gebruik.
