Japanese Satsuma vase from the first half of the 20th century. Finely decorated ceramic, the ivory surface features a fine, regular craquelure, typical of traditional Japanese Satsuma. The gilded edges and geometric motifs are applied with good precision and without coarseness. The "Satsuma hand-painted" inscription on the bottom may indicate production intended for export. Height approximately 23 cm.
