A magnificent antique Japanese porcelain wall plate in the well-known, richly decorated Imari style. The plate dates from the late Meiji to early Taisho period (approx. 1900) and was made by the renowned producer Yamatoku. The authentic red factory mark is stamped on the back.The plate is beautifully adorned with palpable enamel work.A medallion with a detailed bird among blossoms is central. The surrounding sections are richly decorated with traditional Japanese motifs in cobalt blue, iron red, and gold accents.Origin: Japan (Arita / Yamatoku)Period: Approx. 1900 (Meiji / Taisho)Condition: In very good, undamaged condition (no chips or hairline cracks).Hanging system: Comes with the metal wall clip, so it's ready to hang immediately.Dimensions: 24.5 cm diameterA beautiful item for the collector or as a unique eye-catcher in a modern or eclectic interior; boho chic is also possible.
