Jan Mankes 1889 - 1920 2 Original Heliogravures Self-Portraits 1923 Jan Mankes and his Mother Beautifully framed. Frame dimensions 32 h. x 23 w. cm. Heliogravure dimensions 18.5 h. x 15.5 w. cm. and 17.5 h. x 15 w. cm. A great Dutch Master Artist who sadly lived to be only 31 years old. His entire oeuvre, created between 1907 and 1918, comprises approximately 150 paintings, mostly in small formats, about 100 drawings, and over 40 sheets of graphic art, mainly etchings and woodcuts.
