Original painting by Jan Korthals (1916-1972), known for his impressionist cityscapes.
This atmospheric composition shows a lively cityscape with bridge and canals, executed in oil on canvas.
The work is signed lower right and is in good condition. The reverse side bears an original label of Borzo Kunsthandel, 's-Hertogenbosch, a renowned gallery since 1824. This provides additional assurance of provenance.
