Ikora bowl made of mouth-blown glass by Karl Wiedmann for WMF, 1930s
Price: CHF 212
Elegant Ikora bowl by WMF from the 1930s with an exceptional interplay of color and surface texture. The shallow, almost floating form gives the bowl a light and organic appearance, typical of the expressive glass design of the Art Deco period. Particularly characteristic is the finely branched Ikora pattern with net-like white inclusions and cloudy color gradients in coral orange, burgundy, and slightly opalescent white and aqua tones. The mouth-blown art glass creates a vibrant depth effect with iridescent reflections and fine structures that appear differently depending on the light. The combination of sculptural form and masterful glasswork makes this bowl a decorative collector's item with a strong presence.
Condition: Good vintage condition with age-related wear. A few fine scratches and minor signs of wear on the base ring.
