Iconic vintage IKEA "Moment" sofa by Niels Gammelgaard from the 1980s.
Postmodern/Space Age design with a chromed steel frame. The sofa is in good used condition with age-appropriate signs of wear.
Ideal for professional settings such as offices, waiting rooms, and studios. Or simply for design enthusiasts, collectors, or stylish interior design projects.
New covers made of high-quality, durable cotton fabric were custom-made by a master tailor and are visually based on the original green color (cost at the time was approximately €300). The original covers are included but show significant signs of wear.
The armrests were also replaced and remade to match the sofa. They are currently softly filled with blankets, as this was the most suitable solution for both shape and comfort; the filling can, of course, be adjusted or replaced if desired.
The sofa has been used very little in my apartment recently and is being sold due to lack of space.
