A design by Verner Panton, model Vilbert Chair. Manufacturer: Ikea. This model was available for only a short time. In 1993 and 1994, Ikea produced 3000 Vilbert chairs, designed by Verner Panton (Denmark). This postmodern chair is made of four laminated MDF panels in different colors. Because sales were disappointing, this design item was removed from the shelves at the time and a large production run was destroyed. Consequently, this eye-catcher is now a rare piece and a 'must-have' for enthusiasts of postmodern design, Memphis Milano style, or Verner Panton!
