Product description
IKEA Type B703 desk lamp in Memphis style.
The lamp shows light heat-related wear, with some yellowing of the white plastic. Aside from this cosmetic aging, it remains fully functional.
It features a weighted plastic base with an integrated transformer, paired with a plastic shade connected via two telescopic rods. These rods are extendable and can be angled forward, allowing for flexible positioning. The shade itself is rotatable. A minimalist red switch on the base provides a striking contrast against the lamp’s soft yellow tone.
Telescopic lamps were originally produced in the 1960s and saw renewed popularity in the 1980s and 1990s, including releases by IKEA and Brilliant AG.
