The Slamp Foulard pendant lamp, designed by Francesco Paretti in the 1990s, is an iconic piece of Italian design. The design is characterized by its flowing, draped shape reminiscent of a floating silk scarf, giving it an elegant and airy appearance.
Crafted from Opalflex, a patented and durable material from Slamp, this lamp combines flexibility with soft light diffusion. The white color and organic folds create a diffused and atmospheric light. The lamp is equipped with a standard E27 fitting and is produced in Italy.
The lamp is in good condition, commensurate with its age and use. Unfortunately, there are 3 small, inconspicuous holes the size of a staple. See photos; it appears larger than it is. The material has retained its shape and function, ensuring the character of the original design remains intact.
This pendant lamp looks excellent in a modern or eclectic interior. It is a sophisticated addition above a dining table or in a hallway, where the sculptural design immediately catches the eye.
