Product description
Iconic Saqqarah vase, designed by Nanae Umeda and produced by Egizia as part of the Handle With Care series by Sottsass Associati (1995). A rare design object that beautifully captures the spirit of the Memphis era.
The vase is crafted from blown glass with a hand-applied screen-printed decoration in glossy enamel, cobalt blue, dark green, and 24-karat gold. The graphic pattern, with its rhythmic planes and metallic accents, makes this piece a true eye-catcher—both as a vase and a work of art in its own right.

Condition:
Small, barely visible scratches in two places (see photos). The gold color originally had a subtly mottled texture, typical of the hand-finished finish.
