Amber glass ceiling lamp by Helena Tynell Helena Tynell was a Finnish glass artist (1918-2016) who, in addition to glass art, also made designs for utility glass. She spent most of her career working at Riihimäki in Finland, which was the largest glass factory in Scandinavia until the 1960s. Tynell also worked as a freelancer for, among others , Glashütte Limburg in Germany. We now offer one of the lamps she designed there for sale. This lamp is dated to the 1960s/70s. The lamp consists of an amber-colored glass ball with a characteristic bubble motif. The sphere has a screw thread and is mounted in a plastic beige/white fixture. The lamp has an E27 fitting. Dimensions: Height approx. 18.5 cm. Diameter bottom of fixture 11 cm. Diameter of glass part approx. 16.5 cm. The lamp is in good condition, the glass is still completely intact, the screw thread also has no chips. Please refer to the photos to get the best impression!
